About

Linda Berlin began her writing career in San Francisco for a local wire service. She’s worked as an editor for a Pulitzer-prize winning weekly newspaper and as a freelance writer. Her stories are published in the San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, InStyle magazine, and Aviation for Women. While researching a feature story about a local flight school, she got hooked on flying. Ms. Berlin is now a pilot for a major airline.

Her passion for adventure travel, books, and aviating is reflected in the twice monthly essays she writes for Substack. Ms. Berlin plays the piano and loves to listen to classical music while writing fiction. In her upcoming debut novel, The Perfect Pianist, she explores the rise and fall of a famous classical pianist.

She flies out of Seattle, Washington, and lives in Cody, Wyoming, with her spouse Rodeo and a cat named Hawk.
